once more: Hello from Germany
 

Hey all,

My Name is Karl, I am from Germany and I am 29.
Since a few years I am proud to be riding a Harley Road King. My recent tours were to Switzerland, Italy, Austria and just this February i went all the way up to Finland to see my Aunt there. In future I plan to ride the bike to Cape Town.
Why did I choose this Bike for my tours?
Because its looks and Sound make me very happy, it is extremely comfortable for Long distance traveling, it can carry huge weight and due to the carbourator engine road side repairs become very quick and easy. Oh yes, the most important reason: this exact bike made me do the motorcycle license because I fell in love with it.

Cheers! I've got a wee Strom and an electraglide and they both make me happy for different reasons. I do love that sound though :-)

Welcome, mate! The HUBB is definitely for all bikers and travellers - not only for "Adventure Riders" on hard-core enduros :thumbup:

Having said that, in Tasmania I met a couple on an old Harley on a RTW trip with well over 100k miles on the clock. So if you plan to ride down Africa, just do it!
