New member - Riding UK to Cape Town by chinese C90
Hi all, I am new on here but not to other forums under an alias.
I've heard this forum is a goldmine of information so have signed up and will be sure to pick your brains along my trip to Cape Town, I'm sure! I do have a blog set up, noodleadventure.blogspot.co.uk - However, if the mods deem this as spam, please remove! We are currently in Barcelona and depart for Tangier tomorrow. Wish us both luck...! :scooter: |
Been reading this guy's thread here on HU. In fact, like many others and you, he starts out in the UK. His plan is to carry his surfboard and surf throughout the continent. However, he is on a 650 enduro, but while in Cape Town, his friend joins him and buys a cheap Chinese enduro and they end up riding 6000 miles together--the Chinese bike's only issue and turned into its achilles heel is the stock chain kept stretching until he could not adjust it anymore--it kept falling off. Not so much the chain or bike's fault, but the fact that they couldn't, for the life of them, find a new replacement chain! This part of the story starts on page 6 and ends on 7.

Thanks, will have a read of that!
