Hello all,

Dutch guy here although i'm currently living in cold cold Sofia, Bulgaria. I got my motorcycle license just half a year ago, but i'm already rather ambitious as far as traveling goes.

I'm currently planning a first trip to India together with my brother, our plan right now is to spend 3 months driving from the south to the north, starting at Chennai, going through Goa and up in the himalaya's.

Being on this forum is very inspiring, should this first trip be succeed there will be many more!

Oh we surely arent going from Sofia to India thats a bit too much for now. We'll fly to Chennai and buy a motorcycle there, i'm still working on the route but right now it looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/eVRHaCQ.png.

The gap between Mumbai and Dehli is yet to be filled. After Dehli we want to go to Leh and the himalaya. Any tips are greatly appreciated!

Do chennai -kanyakumari via the east coastal road and up to goa via the west coast highway.then continue along the coast to mumbai and get onto nh8 to delhi via rajasthan and Gujarat very scenic to delhi and then through kashmir to leh ladakh or through manali to leh and then back to manali and then delhi.
