Hello from Wiltshire

I've been enjoying reading all the advice and inspiring stories here for some time now and thought I should say hello and thanks! I am in awe of those who head off on long-distance adventures and still can't really imagine doing it myself yet... though now I've watched "The Achievable Dream" I'm slowly coming round to the idea that it could happen!

Last year, I had a great time exploring Wales and the Peak District by bike (CBR125R and Ninja 250R) and I look forward to do lots more touring in the coming months. I haven't ventured abroad yet---unless you count the Isle of Wight---but that's a horizon I hope to expand a little in April with a four-day trip to Brittany and with a longer ride around Europe later in the year.

I'll be coming to the Ace Cafe on Sunday, so I hope to meet some of you there.

Robin.

Welcome to the site Robin. It's good to see someone getting a few miles under their belt on a 125 and 250.

Don't miss visiting Mont St. Michel if your in Brittany, well worth a look. I was there a couple of years ago on my 250 when I toured the Normandy beaches.

Ride report here...

I love your trip report. Looks like you had a great time, despite a bit of rain and frost. Mont St. Michel is already on my plan, thanks!

Hi

Its not what you ride its where you go with it, good luck.

Steve
