Hello from Virginia
 

I'm Nate, 34, I currently live in Virginia but grew up in Indiana and spent 6 years in Utah before moving here a few years ago. I'm entirely new to the world of riding (powered at least) bikes. Just this last November I got my hands on my first bike through a local vehicle trade. I'm riding a '21 CRF250 Rally that I'm calling Mongoose. I heard about this group from a Park Ranger yesterday and am very excited to have discovered it. The amount of information and knowledge here is fantastic. (I might also add that seeing it all up on a Forum like this is nice, you don't see that often these days lol).

Looking forward to attending the planned April Meetup here in Virginia as well, which I will be attending since its just down the road from me a short jaunt!

For anyone else coming to Virginia for this event, welcome! There are a lot of cool parks and places not far from where this event takes place so do explore while here!

I see that you mentioned that you were nearby to the April meeting. I'm in Appomattox Co, about 10 min ride from the 4-H center. It's going to be my first meeting and I hope to learn a few things. Hope to see ya there.

I live in Prince Edward so we're neighbors (sort of lol). Have you been riding long before this meet up or are you new to riding as well?

I rode a lot years ago, got married and got out of the hobby.
Bought a KLR last fall to get back into the sport. I'm sort of working out my retirement plans. I want to to do some long distance touring and figured I could learn something at the HU meeting.

I work in Farmville so we'll have to meet up.
