Hello from Brooklyn
Hi all.
Been on ADVrider for a year or two, since I started taking the idea of my trip seriously. But I found that site a bit too big and unruly for me at times. Still a good source, but had some folks recommend HU as a good alternative/supplement, so here I am. Glad to be aboard here. Here's the skinny: - Been riding 2 wheels for about 5 years. - Planning an Americas ride for mid-next year 2016. Bulk of trip is planned and prepped, now I just need to dig into the details. (May tack on TAT trip ahead of heading south.) - Bike for this trip: '08 DR650 with all the farkles. Just need to do that dang NSU fix to avoid disaster down the road. - Looking for advice, suggestions, and generally to connect w community. |
Goodluck

Yeah, you don't see a lot of ADV-style bikes roaming around the city but from what I can tell here and on ADVrider, the adventure crowd is strong in the NY area. Hope you're having a great time. |
