Hello from a hipster......

Hi all, I'm Nick from Ashford in Kent, my starsign is Aquarius, I love puppies and want world peace..Oh sorry, wrong forum :-)

I'm a life long motorcyclist (hate that term) and have been riding for 37 years, from schoolboy m/x at 10. I've commuted, despatched, toured, and raced a whole range of two wheel stuff over the years, but my heart lies with Ducati. My previous adventure bike was a Cagiva Elefant, 750 in Lucky Strike colours. It took me to Italy last summer, and broke my one hit distance record, just short if 1,000 miles in 18 hours.

I put hipster in the title, as I've bought.....a.......Ducati.................Scramble r! The Urban Enduro model, and I love it! I'm lending it to a mate in a couple of weeks when we ride to the South of France for the Bol d'Or, as I'll be on my Ducati cafe racer.

However, I'm booked for a 2 week tour of Morocco next April, so I'll chuck some TKC80's on it, tweek the suspension, fabricate a steel sump guard, and hit the tracks!

I look forward to thoughts on this, but yes I already have a beard (of sorts) and a selection of check shirts ;-)

On a more serious note, I live 10 minutes from the Channel Tunnel, and work in France so travel pretty much every day. So if people need traffic advice, or some mechanical help inbound or outbound, feel free to pm me, I can always forward my mobile number and have a pretty decent workshop.

Cheers, Nick
