Hello everyone - new to HUBB
 

Hi all. New member here. I have been a member of ADV Forums and Stromtroopers for about a year and since I am going to attend HU Ontario in June I figured I should sign up and introduce myself here.
Brief background - spent 3 seasons and 75,000 kilometers on a low slung fat-bottomed cruiser until it - and I were taken out by a left turning cage last May. 2 broken ankles and 13 weeks later - after reading a ton of motorcycle magazines - I left the cruiser world behind and bought a 2014 V Strom 1000 :D
and I could not be happier. Big Ethel and I have had some rip-roaring fun riding all the gravel we can find, playing in the mud, and riding twin and single track forest trails. She is not well suited for the real gnarly stuff, so I won't be riding enduro on her - but she sure has opened up a whole new world of adventure for me.

Hi mate, Greetings from Australia. Hope you are now ok after 2 broken ankles. My wife and I sold our 2001 bm rt 1150 and bought a 2011 gs 1200. We also went to a Hu meeting in Barington Tops NSW an had a great time. The meetings fuel the fire. stay safe.
