Greetings from a Suzuki DR fanboy
 

Hello community and fellow motorcycle enthusiasts!

I’m an Austrian rider with a soft spot for the Suzuki DR series.

In 2018, I refurbished a ‘93 DR350 that I found in my uncle’s shed and drove it from Vienna, Austria to New Delhi, India. Quite a ride and the starting point of my obsession with motorcycle travel.

Back in Central Europe, I decided to upgrade to a DR650 R (‘94, SP44B) to appreciate and accommodate for my wife’s excitement to join me on my travels. This resulted in a wonderful three-weeks trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina and plenty of rides in and around Austria.

Right now I’m typing these lines from a small workshop in Medellín, Columbia. I purchased a DR350 R (again
