Hi,

found these pages a few days ago and since my mom, er, at least tried to teach me some good manners, I want to introduce myself. ;-)

My name is Tobi, I love to travel and to ride motobikes and want to go on a one year round-the-world trip, starting next summer. Planning starts to get serious and I hope to find here some answers for the billions of upcoming questions.

I will go by a KTM 640 Adventure, a bike which isn´t too heavy but strong enough to carry me and my stuff.

Only the first part of the trip is planned so far. I´d like to cross Russia and Mongolia, ending up in Vladivostok. When I reach there without bigger losses of health or bikeparts I will decide where to go further on. My big dream is to make it to South Amerika and drive in northern direction to the USA. Maybe I´ll have enough time to visit New Zealand in between, but this depends on time and opportunity.
