Horizons Unlimited - The HUBB - F*** it! Im gonna do it!!

Hi everyone. Name's Luca and I live in norther italy. i actually used to have an other account a few years back but heck... i dont remember username, password or email!! doh what an idiot!! no big deal... i did "leech" a whole lot of usuful info off you guys, but my bad..... i never really wrote much other than the few suggestions here and there on the routes that i knew well.

in any case, it seems somehow fitting to return today with a new account because today is the beginning of something big, today everything changes! today is the day that i decide "screw it, im gonna do that RTW ive been dreaming about all my adult life".
I guess this has been brewing for a long time. Ive loved motorcycles since an early age thanks to my pops. Loved them A LOT!!! The only thing in the world that excited me as much as bikes? yep, that too! :thumbup1: but i what i really meant was traveling! :)
it didnt take long before i put the two things together and DAMN it was good!! Im not entirely new to long distance traveling. Over the years i toured most of Europe and a good portion of north america (lived for 7 years in washington DC), and in 2007 i rode my longest and most amazing trip to date: west coast of africa down to dakar, Senegal. I know, i know..... for a lot of people in here that's like going to the groceries store, but for me.... it's been a truly life-changing experience!!
After that, nothing! Normal day-to.day life swallowed me whole: jobs, relationships, family issues.... chirst!! Ive been feeling like i caged animal since then. But today im gonna break these damned chains and start working towards living my life the was I SEE FIT!!!
Decisions like these, as it has been for many other RTW-riders, often come after traumatizing events, and today has definitely been a BAD day, but hell, im not gonna let it bother me. today i can start dreaming and i can start working towards the kind of happiness that only my V-twin and the open roads give me!!

So here it goes..... hello everyone!! it seems like you'll be seeing a lot of me in the near future. DAMN GLAD TO BE BACK IN THE BEST FRIGGIN FORUM OF THE INTERNET!!!
