Thread closed?

I noticed this thread seems "locked". Posting not possible:

Off limits? Violation of rules? ... or ... ? :confused1:

Or one too many beer? Looks fine to me! And there's no sign it was ever locked or unlocked in the logs.

Good posts by the way :)

Oddly enough, I can't reply to that thread either- just get two blank boxes- 'Reply to Thread' and 'Additional Options' which have no functionality. Can't use the quick reply box either.

I could only post on "that thread" by selecting one of the icons in a previous post, which did confuse me until I worked that out.

Deffo a 'goose' in there
I copied the thread to another section and the result was the same ( now deleted to avoid duplication)
Seems a gremlin has entered the electronic void-
I can't fix this sorry-

Yes John A
Me too. Same problem as the rest of you but if you click on a quick reply option from an existing message it will allow you to reply as normal.

mollydog 21 Apr 2014 18:59

Thanks for the tip about the "Quick Reply' option. It worked fine. But the original problem persists ... can't post on that thread using normal procedure.

Some sort of bug I guess that effects only certain Browsers?
I'm on Safari (Apple).

Google Chrome for me.

Grant Johnson 21 Apr 2014 20:15

I've tested in FF and Chrome and Safari all on Win 7 and it's fine for me as a regular user as well as admin, will check Safari on Apple later.

Tested on IE11 too.

Need more specifics as to exactly what does and does not work, but it appears fine and certainly lots of people posting!

mollydog 21 Apr 2014 20:50

It's fine now for me. All good. But I did get an emoticon (bier) that I didn't put in ... and on Edit, it's not there! Weird ... but no big deal.

I posted on said thread just now. Just clicked reply and wrote my words. W7/FF
