More 4x4 Presentations at HUBB 2018?
 

Hi All,

I attend the HUBB UK shows every year and always enjoy the wide variety of presentations...but did notice a distinct lack of 4x4 presenters at HUBB 2017 (UK). I would like to think we as a community have something to offer, and I expect there are at least some of us out there doing interesting trips...so why not step up and give a talk? I have presented in the past on both my trips and on travel security and will offer to do so again, but would like to see some others passing on their experiences as well.

Maybe contact the guys from the OverlandingAssociation.org, they put on some fantastic seminars over two days at the Adventure Overland Show.

Im sure they would be interested to participate.

I am a member of another 4x4 club who have attended the last 3 Hubb meetings and put on a display of large overland vehicles and trucks.

Unfortunately although this forum has a 4x4 section, no effort is made at the hubb uk to encourage us and other 4x4 members to attend. No part of the event is specifically 4x4.

This coupled with the fact that the organisers always choose a date that clashes with europes biggest overland event in germany and the cost of attending the show is ridiculously high has meant that no members of our club have shown any interest in attending this year.

Its a bit sad but hey ho, there are plenty of other events in the UK.
