Storage in Valparaiso, Chile
 

Hi All,

My bike will be reaching Valparaiso in early December 2015 but i can't make it there till Feb. Any ideas for safe storage of an r1200gs without actually going there to arrange thing?

I have a good friend in Santiago who said he would store my bike for me when I am done with my 6-month trip there. I will ask if he can take care of yours. How long will you need to store it? I think the biggest issue for him will be picking up the bike and getting it through the customs process on your behalf. Its not something he would do for free for a stranger but he is a great guy and very trustworthy. He rides a Yamaha BTW. Let me ask him for you and if he is receptive, I'll connect you.

thanks for the reply. all the customs work will be done .. it will just need to be picked up from the warehouse and taken to storage. storage time will be from 2nd week of december to late feb.
