Shipping from the UK to Irkutsk or Ulan Bator

I am looking to ship my bike from the UK to Ulan Bator in May next year however i am starting to think that Irkutsk might be a good option due to the trans Siberian railway.
So far i have one quote of £2650 for air freight London (UK) into Ulaan bator (Mongolia).
Does anyone have any advice to offer ?
Was hoping that a cheaper land/rail option would be possible !

We transported our 2 motorbikes from Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) to our house in London for considerably less than that!

Not sure about Irkutsk as dropping place but check with www.advfactory .com.
