Shipping to Kathmandu from Iran or Emirates
 

Hi,
I'm on my way to Nepal, currently on the road in Turkey. The floodings in Pakistan made me decide to skip Pakistan from the route. They don't need me there right now. In the shipmentpage I could not find tips for flying to Nepal. Who has experience with flying to Nepal from Iran or the Emirates?

I heard that shipping to India can be "an adventure", especially getting the bike through customs in India. If you have good tips on that matter, I'd really appreciate those to.

While I can't give you any direct pointers, I would guess that your chances are a lot better in UAE. Iran is under embargo, so wouldn't expect too many suitable aircraft operating there. Oman is a great place for travelling and if you feel adventurous you may also want to loop through Yemen.

Thanks Beddist, UAE and Oman seem attractive. Yemen too, but as you said, thats quite adventurous. I'm already looking for possibilities for a flight. If anybody has experience with this connexion, I'd like to hear so.
