Shipping options KLR650 Florida to Colombia in 2022?
 

Hi all,

There is so much information on internet about shipping motorcycles, that I can't figure out anymore which leads are still up to date in 2022 or what the best way is to minimise problems.

I am searching for options to ship my KLR650 from Florida to Colombia in August or September. I already asked for some quotes at the major cargo handlers (like motofreight and James Cargo), but I'm wandering if there may be other - more local - options that I could consider too?

For instance, how long up front do you need to make arrangements for shipping a bike? Currently I'm in the Netherlands, Europe and I'll be going to Florida to meet up with my bike at the end of July. What is wise: to plan the shipment now (using internet) or to make arrangements in Florida?

Any ideas are welcome!
