Shipping Motorcycle from West Coast US to Chile
 

I am looking to ship my BMW f800gs from San Fransisco or Long Beach to preferable Antafogasta, Chile or Valparaiso, Chile. I would like to ship it down September 2019 so that way I know I will catch the summer season in Patagonia then point it north and ride home to Reno, Nevada.

I did get a quote for $1,800-$2,000. Does this sound right? Would it be more economical to ship it Chile to the US? Any and all suggestions, recommend companies, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
