Shipping Land Rover Defender from Dakar to Walvis bay.
 

Hello!

My name is Caroline and my husband and I are currently in Senegal. After following the news, it seems like we need to ship our car from Dakar to Walvis bay, Namibia (first choice) or Cape town. Does anyone have experience with shipping cars from Dakar to southern Africa? Is there anyone else in Senegal right now who are planning to ship their car to southern Africa?

For the shipment between Dakar-Walvis, we have only found one company which provides this service with offices in both Dakar and Walvis (via Spain); Safmarine. Delmas is handling shipments from Dakar to CT (via Benin). Online, both of the companies says that the shipment will take around 30-35 days.

We are currently looking for different options. We are 2 cars and are seriously considering to ship it in a 40-container. There would be space for a motorbike. Is someone interested? We want to ship the cars sometime between 29th November-15th December.
