Shipping bike from Europe to the East Coast
 

hey guys,

i know that lots of people did that before, unluckily all the information i found is at least 5 years old and i doubt that the prices are still accurate.
i read that it is cheaper to send the bike by plane? Are there any companies that offer air transport you'd recommend? does the price vary if i ship it from austria or let's say portugal? did anyone ship his bike in the near past?
maybe even someone from austria, who can give me informations about customs and stuff?
