Shipping from Belgium to the USA - Multiple trips - Letting someone borrow the bike.
 

Hi to everybody !

I am going to ship my bike to the USA in April and will stay there until the end of May.

My intention is to fly back to Belgium without the bike, work (urgh) for two months and then go back to the USA and spend August and September there.

In July a friend of mine who would like to ride my bike in the US.

US customs are both helpful and a bit vague ....

- Is it ok for me to leave the country without the bike (temporary import) ?
- Can another person use the bike in my absence ?
- Do you have a shipping service to recommend ?


So, I'll be there in April, May, August and September. It would be cool to meet other Horizons travellers !

Who did you end up shipping with? What was the cost? Looking to get me bike back to the states shortly from Europe
