Ship Cub90 From Mongolia to Thailand
 

Hello, due to the cost and hassle of a Carnet, I think riding from London to Mongolia and then shipping to south east asia i.e Thailand would be the best option.

Does anyone know who would do the shipping for this and what an aprox cost+delivery time would be?

Hello, I'm doing a similar trip from Ireland, I will continue from Mongolia to Vladivostok and ship to South Korea and then ship to south ease Asia, I think Bangkok will be the most common port.

And from what I have heard the shipping overall will cost about 700-900 USD . Of course cheaper for a C90 tho :)

Ive just been quotted 1700USD! for my cub90 by landbridge shipping. they are saying they can only do it via air.
I was hoping to get it down to 500USD. What are you looking at cost wise with vlad to korea to SEA?

Selling and buying the bike defeats the purpose for me.

if its cheaper to go from Vladivostok to thailand i will do that but i here its cheaper to go from south Korea,
I have herd there is a passenger ferry from Vladivostok to south Korea, the cost for me + the bike one way should be about $150 and from south Korea to Thailand about $500 if i can get someone to share with.

My plan is to figger it out when i arrive in Vladivostok :)

If you have no carnet, what are your plans after traveling thailand/vietnam etc ? how will you return to the UK ?

I am planning the same. From Finland thru Russia to Ulan Bataar or Vladivostok. My original plan was to go via Turkey, iran and pakistan but it seems better to take the northern route.

Has anyone done that already? What are the actual costs of shipping the bike from Vladivostok to SE Asia? And what company did you use?
