RoRo from Africa to Europe/UK?
 

Hi all

I am nearing the end of a tour of southern/eastern Africa and need to ship my vehicle home, which is the UK, or somewhere on mainland Europe.

I would prefer roro as its too big for a normal container and high cubes are very expensive. It may not even get through the door of one of those either.

I can ship from east Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, maybe Mozambique) or Namibia but NOT South Africa as i can't go back there having overstayed on my visa and getting banned :-(

So has anyone done this shipment before? Plenty of service routes going from Europe to Africa but not many the other way it seems. i have one option of shipping Namibia to Durban thens trans-shipping Durban to UK but that sounds like it could be expensive!

Any recommendations?
