Rent/Buy to ride Turkey, Georgia, Bulgaria, Serbia, and more
 

Hi everyone!
My wife and I are planning on taking a year to do a lot of riding around the world starting in spring 2022. We're firm on wanting to spend time in: Turkey, Israel, & Jordan. Optional all or some of: Georgia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, etc.
We're open to buying bikes, because so far it sounds like crossing some of these borders is doable, so if we can string these countries together for a couple months or so, it'll be worth it. We'd aim to sell them at the end of the trip. Worst case, I am OK with selling back to the dealer at a loss.
So my questions:

• Which country would you target to rent or buy in, to optimize cost and to enable travel to the most countries in this group?
• I mention Jordan and Israel because if there were some way to ferry there and continue riding that would be amazing. I assume it is more likely we would just need that to be a separate segment of the trip.

I'd love any insights you all can contribute, and will answer any questions to facilitate!
