Port Fees Panama City
 

I am trying to decide whether to ship or fly a bike to Panama City from Vancouver, BC. To ship is about half the cost of flying (fees at point of departure) but I am wondering about port fees in Panama. The shipper is estimating about $200 for each cubic meter (my bike will be just over a cubic meter). Does this sound about right? Generally, does Panama have lower fees/simper paper work than other Central American countries as it is a major hub? Most info I can find is on flying. Thankyou.
