From Panama to Cartegena columbie. New Ferry?
 

Hey I guys I have been riding from AK up to Inuvik and am now in Sayulita Mexico.

I HAVE RECENTLY HEARD OF A NEW FERRY CALLED FErRY XPRESS IT is said to begin october 24th and only take 18 hours or so.

Does anyone have any idea if this is a real thing.

Also does anyone recommend anything other than the stahlrat.:funmeteryes:

Nobody knows, and anyone who tells you that they do know can be assumed delusional...or at minimum, incurably optimistic.

Ferry plans and promises crop up at least yearly here, and are widely debated. You can stay updated using the search function on this site or on ADVrider.com. Just remember that anyone can make promises on a website, and that it's wise to have a backup plan.

FWIW, when my schedule didn't align with the Stahlratte I shipped by air with a now-defunct airline. Girag still does this, at a price. There are other options which might appeal to you or not. All have been described and debated at length. Again: search function.
