Malaysia to Indonesia

Hello, I plan a trip for 2023 from Germany to Australia, so my route goes als from Malaysia to Indonesia, so I know about the Mr.Lim´s onion boat who carries bikes from Penang to Medan, but now I heard that Mr.Lim´s boat is out of business, does anyone know something about that? or has anyone another idea to bring the bikes from Malaysia to Sumatra? I will be happy to get some news which hopefully solve this problem

Thanks for the reply, I guess freight is not an option, way too expensive for this short way, I heard some overlanders pack their bikes on a regular passenger ferry from Kulala Lumpur to Sumatra?? Can someone say something about that??
