Like Grimaldi for BAs but for the US or canada?
Hi ,
Looking if there is a RORO that you could travel in with your vehicle, a bit like Grimaldi allow people to do, to go to BAs? Once upon a time, I am pretty sure there was a RORO doing UK to Boston where passengers could embark with their cars/bikes. Any has done such trip by sea with their bikes to go to USA or Canada (from the UK)???? |
I'd be interested to find that out myself.

We put our bikes on RORO from Southampton to Baltimore in April 2011 - cost around £550 one way with Wallenius Wilhemsen but they did not allow passengers so we had to fly and meet the bikes Stateside.

Certainly does not seem like a common way to travel, like I understand it once was. Cheap air travel probably killed it.
No personal experience of crossing the oceans on a ship, or the quality of this website, but it might be worth checking out anyway: https://www.freightercruises.com/voy...#transatlantic |

2. You can get the full Wallenius Wilhemsen scoop starting on their website, and probably calling one of the UK (Southampton or Liverpool) offices direct, listed here: Index good luck |
