jumping from brazil to africa question
 

leaving in sept/oct for a long trip.
1st on the list is south america.
2nd is africa.

What I would like to do is go down the western side of S.Am. all the way to terra del fuego. then up on the estern side and stop in the Rio Grande do Norte region, say Natal or Recif, and ship the bike over to Senegal there or about depending on political climate at the moment I jump over. (plane or boat, don't really care much)

So the question is, any one ever done this? I'm hoping the answer is yes! ;)
And if so, any details about from where to where, cost, issues, time-table, etc.
