Japan (or Vladivostok) to Thailand

I am travelling in Mongolia at the moment, but I am on the way to Vladivostok. So I need infos for flying or shipping to Thailand.

I would recommend, if using air transport,
to fly into Penang, Malaysia if possible
from Japan or Vladistock. The customs and
logistics are user-friendly and simple
comared to Thailand, especially Bangkok.

Last June I flew into Penang with my bike
and then out from Bangkok. Penang is easy
for taking care of all document work. There
are several flights per week into Penang by Korean Airlines from Seoul. The issue would
be getting the bike to Seoul. There are other airlines that also fly into Penang
because of the electronics and manufacturing
commerce that is there.

The ride to Thailand is easy and quick
if need be from Penang. You can be in the Bangkok area in a two-day ride.
