Insurance for Non UK Residents
 

I am going to the UK to buy a new bike and need motorbike insurance. The problem is I cannot get insurance as the companies only insure UK residents and as I live in Greece they're not interested. Does anyone know of any insurance companies who will insure non-uk residents?

Hi - battling here with very slow connection in the mountains - are you enquiring about motorcycle insurance or insurance for yourself (medical)? If medical I think the best you can probably get is from World Nomads, an Australian company underwritten by Bupa in Denmark. They'll cover virtually anybody, virtually anywhere.

Don't know about intl. cover for a bike - haven't been able to find any but would definitely be interested.

I am insterested if anybody knows any insurance companies that will cover me in the UK for my motorbike. I am from Greece and they will not cover non uk residents.
