How long to arrange shipping in BKK?
 

How long does it generally take to arrange shipping? Could it be arranged within a few days if shipping by air and all the paperwork is in order?

Any common snags that cost days/ weeks/ $$?

*Anything that can be done ahead of time to expedite the process?*

I've just shipped my Landcruiser from BKK to Perth, Australia. Not a difficult task as such, it took just couple of days. But ! There is a but, this is Thailand..

You HAVE to have all the required paperworks. In my case I entered TH from Laos via a small village, they forgot to give me one paper, they had no idea nor did I obviously. Exiting Thailand was not an easy task, just because they are very strict. I can't quite recall which paper was missing but the point it, just a stamp on a carnet does not suffice for Thailand.

Having said that, I went through a great guy (Tim, from the UK, based in BKK, that's his bread and butter Site Not Found) and he sorted it all out for me.

So, in short, to answer your question, yes, under a week, it can be done. Get in touch with Tim he'll explain what you need beforehand.
