Europe to Canada advice please

So I've been wanting to do a trip with my bike in Canada for a couple of years now and have done nothing about it. So I've decided I'm going to spend a month next year (2019) over there, I know its a long way away at the moment, but I already have trips planned for around europe this year and want to see them through.
So my questions are
What is the best place to get the bike shipped from-to? I'm guessing its best to ship from the UK? But to where? I know you will all be saying "yeah but where do you want to go?" Well I dont really care, I will have a month or whatever of riding so all I want is the easiest and cheapest.
What are the best months for riding in Canada?
With a mix of camping and cheap accommodation, what is an average daily budget?
What kind of costs am I likely to have for the shipping of the bike?
Your advice would be much appreciated, and I know the costs can vary a lot between now and 2019 but this would be the first time I've shipped a bike and left Europe. I would really have no idea where to start planning.

Regards
James

There's a link to a company called Motorcycle Express in the sidebar - send them an email and ask... basically you're likely to fly into Toronto or Montreal, from Amsterdam/Paris/maybe Frankfurt.

For a month, shipping there and back might be more expensive than renting locally.

Keep an eye on this thread, presuming Air Canada run this deal this year it works well, my bike flew the day before me and I was on the road within an hour of arriving in Vancouver.

Hi,

or you can use a RORO-Transport to Halifax (takes about 2 weeks). Much more reliable than container transport. With port fees and such it was about 800-900€ in 2015.

I used https://www.2wglobal.com in 2015.

Cheers
Martin
