Custom clearance India

Hi all. My custom agent in India wants to charge me $500 Australian dollars to custom clear my bike. Does that sound excessive? Should I find another agent? Any suggestions appreciated.

You don't say how or where your bike has arrived in India but if that is for everything including any handling and storage fees it could be right.
