Crate Available in Bangkok
 

I am hoping to receive my bike on Monday 11/7 from Customs at the Bangkok Airport.

I planned to rent a pickup truck from Budget and haul the crated bike to Ubon Ratchathani since I was traveling with several pieces of luggage.

Since the flooding in Bangkok, pickup trucks seem to be hard to come by and I can not find one to rent.

Now I have to rethink my plan.

New plan is to send my luggage by Thai Cargo to Ubon at 16 Baht per Kilo.

Collect my bike from customs and abandon the crate at customs and ride bike to Ubon avoiding the flooded highways.

I really wanted to save the crate since it cost me $340 plus $150 to have it delivered by Quick Crate and then 1 day to cut it down and modify it. A great system that just snaps together with metal clips with 3/4" OSB Plywood.

Crate size is 96" x 30" x 45"

If anyone knows someone that would be willing to pick crate (broke down) and store for me until I can pick up at a later date it would be appreciated.

Or if there is anyone planning on shipping their bike anytime soon and needed a crate (all donations, trades, tires/parts for a KTM 950 Adventure great accepted) please PM me for more details.
