Clearance times in Vancouver Port
 

we're in Malaysia at the moment and are just looking at sea freighting from Port Klang to Vancouver.

We know that there are weekly sailings and have a rough idea of sailing times (about 4 weeks) and the costs at this end.

Our worry is what the deal is at the Vancouver end, specifically what charges we can expect and more importantly what sort of time frame we're looking at from when the boat arrives to when we actually get it.

Our obvious worry is being sat in Vancouver for a month AFTER the boat docks as we don't have that much time. I appreciate that Vancouver probably as bad as some ports around the world (we've heard some horror stories) but anyone can give advice or share experience in Vancouver we'd really appreciate it.
