Bikes wanted to share a container from Australia to Greece
 
Hi guys

We have locked in a container traveling from Melbourne on the 27th of February and arriving in Greece on the 6th of April. The cost is going to be dependent on how many bikes we end up but it looks like it will be less than $750 each. The only issue is the bike will need a carnet to avoid issues with Greek import duties. I haven´t taken a bike from Oz to Greece. But also I´ve never heard, that a motorcycle would need a carnet for any country in Europe.

Demanding a carnet for temp import (like some countries do), or being able to use carnet for some countries, IF you have it – two different things, and could be worth making sure, what is really required.
