Bike with sidecar on Sib express
 

Does anybody know if it's possible to put a bike with sidecar on the Trans Sib Railway from Novosibirsk to Moskou?

Hi Sjeng,

Last september I informed in Ulaanbaator to put my motorbike on the Trans-Sib. The 'official' explanation was: a maximum load of 35 kg in the cargo wagon/ person. We also met a Canadian woman who wanted to put her bike-sidecar on the train and was rejected because the total weight was to high.
Summery: the info you get from the railways are not uniform and depends on where you ask and who you ask.
