Bike registration in Tajikistan - info required
 

Hi,
Bit comlicated this.
Some mates and me are shipping three bikes to Kazhakstan then riding down to Dushanbe in Tajikistan.
Once there, I'm flying home and another friend is taking over from me.

My question is does anyone know wether I can do this without incurring the wrath of customs etc in Tajikistan?
Last thing I want is to be told I cant leave the country as I have a bike somewhere there!
Any help or info welcome!

Hi. You will have to do a "davernest" (power of attorney) by a official notary for your friend. With this he can cross all the Stans.
