Anyone ship from San Fran to Hong Kong before?
 

Hello all,
I am interested in shipping a bike from San Fran to Hong Kong (and a few boxes of spare parts).
I've been searching google and and reading as much as I can.
Just wondering if anyone here has done it before, and if you can share your experience.

Hi Ken,
I'm not sure if you're starting a trip from HK (which would be very interesting) or relocating to here, but if it's the latter then make sure you've done your research for importation. I've no specific knowledge or first hand experience, but the two people I know who have imported a vehicle have regretted it. Indeed, the guy with the car never succeeded in registration and shipped it back home at the end of his contract never having been used here.
The guy with the bike succeeded but freely advises everyone to buy here instead.
