Alabama to California... suggestions please
 

I need to ship my KLR 650 from Alabama to California. My cousin works for a motorcycle dealership, and he was able to save a KLR shipping crate for me. Any suggestions on which company to use, and your best guesses as to how much the shipping "should" cost. My cousin said that he would be shocked if the quotes are more than $450, but so far all of the quotes I have received are around $750

Any help, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

check out haulbikes.com. I've heard good things about them. According to the chart on their website it looks like the price would be $640.
