Air Freight or share container from Malaysia to North America
We're looking to ship a couple of XT's from Malaysia to North America, preferably to Vancouver in April/May 2011 and have started the usual process of looking at different shipping companies for either air or sea freight.
Just thought i'd put it out there in case anybody either has some information/advice (on any part of the process including requirements for Canada and the USA) or is interested in some sort of container share. I await the barrage of people wanting the same to reduce our costs to near zero....... James |
Well, we're not quite in Malaysia, but glad to hear you're continuing your travels! We've just spent most of the day getting our bikes cleaned ready for shipping them from Brisbane to Auckland. I'm now going to eat my dinner off my rear sprocket and us my spokes for chop sticks! Dropping the bikes off on Monday so should be in Auckland next weekend.

Maskargo
Hi again, we met at the Mutt Mee Guesthouse, I was the old guy on the red BMW.
I shipped with Maskargo from KL to Brisbane about 3 weeks ago, very easy and at $1010 quite a good deal. They have flights from KL to Los Angeles 3 times aweek, no crate required, straight on the pallet and away you go. Ride safe John |
