Hi there,

We are getting our visa for iran, pakistan and india and leave in September. I thought India wouldn't be a problem, but seems to be the hardest to get.

Problem is they are valid from the moment issued and be given standard for 3 months. This means the visa is not valid anymore by the time we get there. Now we have to write a letter to the embassy with our exact plans and why we need a 6 months visa. This might work or we get an extra interview, but just in case, I wonder if the're folks who recently obtained their India visa in Turkey, Iran or Pakistan and what are your experiences?
