Vehicle Valuation Letter For Carnet in Australia
 

Hello everyone,

I'm having a hard time getting a letter from a dealer to put a value on my motorcycle.

I live in Melbourne, Australia and getting the paperwork for my carnet together.

Does anyone know a dealer or mechanic who has dealt with a carnet before? I have called a few now, and none of them has ever heard of one. And freak out at the thought of some "official" document with a value for my motorbike on it.

I had my mechanic write one up for me with his company letterhead

Easy done

Always best to ride into your favourite dealer and explain it carefully to them IN PERSON. It's ONLY a valuation in their option - the sales guys might even do one as "what they'd pay for it".
