USA Visa
 

As I plan to spend longer than 90days in the americas I need to apply for a visa but have encountered a large hurdle. The online application form asks for an address but will not accept TENT as an acceptable address. Any body know what I have to do as a UK citizen to be able to travel longer than 90days in the good old US of A

I'm not sure of the procedure buy I know it is possible because I met several Brits who were hiking the Appalachian trail on 6 month visas.

Any hotel (Holiday Inn is fine).

I did my USA visa in NZ (I am Finnish citizen).
I checked online and it said that application need to be done in country of residence. Called US embassy in NZ and they just asked me to fill the form and stop by for interview.

I used my old address (been on a road over two years) and this was ok.
