Travel without logbook ?
 

I have just bought a new to me bike and have sent off my part of the v5 logbook to dvla to get it registered in my name and address . But i want to leave the uk in less than two weeks , so can i leave the uk and enter france without the logbook , even though the bike is insured and taxed in my name , and just get the v5 posted out to me while on the road , or do i have to sit and wait for it in the uk before i can leave ? thanks .

just go along to youre local dvla office and they do one straight away if only travelling around europe shouldnt be a problem but check first think its about £25.00 from what i remember, its hand written on a form with all the stamps travelled around quite a bit with one a few years ago enjoy youre trip :scooter:
