Travel insurance for over 60's already on the road?
 

We need to renew our travel insurance and Carole Nash are quoting £377 each for a max of 6 months extension to the one-year insurance we took out. I am aaargh 61 and having difficulty finding an alternative. We are UK citizens and have been on the road 11 months so far. Policy needs to start with us NOT in the UK. Does anybody have any suggestions of companies to approach? Many thanks.Sheonagh

We will be faced with this situation next year when in South America and most insurances require you to start the insurance in the UK. I have only found one who will renew whilst still traveling but only up to the age of 59!
