Temporary Vehicle Import Australia
 

Hi

I am off to Australia at the end of the year, shipping bike from NZ to Brisbane, Queensland.

Has anyone got any experience of Temporary Import as opposed to the Carnet route?

I did the temporary import scheme in NZ, and my bike passed the WOF fairly easily (minus the coke can bodge to secure my wheel bearings :eek3::eek3:)

Dunno how strict the Ozzies are! If it like full on compliance, my bike would not pass as nothing much is original?!
