Temporary importation to Europe

I flew my Australian registered bike into the UK from South Africa in July 2007. The bike has been in Spain ever since, but i'm about to fly it from London to Canada. I'm wondering if i will get any grief from Her Majesty's Customs and Excise for staying in the EC longer than i was supposed to with a temporary import. Does anyone have experience with this?
I did the same thing before, and got through the Spanish/Moroccan land border with no problems, but they might be more thorough at Heathrow.
I'd appreciate any input.

I very much doubt UK authorities are concerned where and for how long the bike has been somewhere.
Their concern should be that the bike matches the paperwork and the paperwork matches their expectation for its origin and (possibly) it did not overstay in UK previously.
No doubt you can show it did not overstay in the UK.

This assumes you are riding it to UK. If you are only freighting it both in and out through Heathrow it could be treated as goods in transit/bond.
