Selling UK registered bike in USA
 

Hi all
I'm planning to go over to the States in Jan, will ship my bike over and was wondering about selling it over there at the end of the trip.
Can anyone point me to any threads about this (couldn't find any with the search) or tell me their experiences?

It can be done but it may not be worth it.

Probably do-able, but you´re likely to suffer in that deal, because bikes in the US are very cheap compared to Europe.

Yes doesn't look easy or worth it.
I was just looking for a way of taking my bike and keeping it a bit cheaper.
Big shame they don't have 650 transalps in the US
